The Fick Family
The Fick Family has been a valued client for over 20 years, and towards the end of 2023, we had the opportunity to create a new group website for Hazyview Hospitality.
The goal of this project was to connect the new group website with two existing websites, Hotel Numbi and Little Pilgrims, which were developed by Profitroom. Unfortunately, Profitroom chose not to provide backlinks to the Hazyview Hospitality website or any other group-related properties. To work around this, we decided to have links from the Hazyview Hospitality Group site to Hotel Numbi and Little Pilgrims open in new browser tabs, ensuring user accessibility to those sites while maintaining seamless group navigation.
Four New Websites
The project included the development of four separate websites, each with an identical menu system. This approach offers visitors the experience of a unified online presence, even though the sites exist on different domains. The websites include:

By maintaining the same menu structure across all four sites, users can easily navigate between these distinct brands while perceiving them as part of a larger, interconnected hospitality group.
Measurable Success
We are particularly pleased with the performance of these websites on Google Chrome’s Lighthouse audit. Each site achieved impressive scores. However, due to the inclusion of an embedded YouTube video and map on the Hazyview Hospitality and Woodlands Guest House websites, Lighthouse awarded a score of 78% for “Best Practices” and between 92-96% for “Accessibility.” These lower scores are caused by the use of iFrames, third-party cookies, and JavaScripts associated with these embeds. Without these elements, the websites would likely score a perfect 100% in these areas.
